Zheng Wenlong (Hsing Yi master),
Founder of Zheng Qing Guan martial arts studio, Zheng Wenlong is a master of many martial arts, including Hsing Yi, Taiji, and Gojuru Karate. He is a recognized spokesperson in China for the values of martial arts in strengthening character and positive intention among youth.
Yu Chuiyu (Gojuru Karate champion),
Yu Chuiyu is a gold medalist kata champion in Gojuru Karate, having studied extensively in Okinawa, while teaching Karate in both China and the USA. She is also an expert on the history of Karate and the relationship between Chinese and Japanese martial arts. She serves as a lead instructor at Zheng Qing Guan.
Kyle Funakoshi (Shotokan Karate Master and Eighth Dan),
Kyle Funaokshi is the lineage holder of Funakoshi Shotokan Karate, and a direct descendent of Gichin Funakoshi who is the father of Karate. He is chief instructor and director of the Funakoshi Karate International Association and one of the most respected figures in the international martial arts scene.
Wayde Ching (Wing Chun master),
Wayde Ching is the founder and chief instructor at Wing Chung Combative in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he strongly promotes Kung Fu traditions still kept alive in Honolulu’s Chinese community. He is also a master of Hsing Yi and Bagua as well as Jeet Kundo. He was invited on the judges panel after wining the award in 2022
Dou Yan (Kung Fu cinematographer),
Extreme Himalayan expedition cinematographer, Dou Yan is the senior chief cinematographer at Shambhala Studio Films. He also specializes in Kung Fu action cinematography and is a practitioner of several forms of Chinese martial arts having been a student at the famous Shishahai Wushu school from which many action starts have graduated.
Dann Gaymer (Musician, Producer, Psychologist) ,
Dann Gaymer has been one of the leading spokespersons and forces behind the punk rock and techno-psych music scene in China, cultivating many young stars and start-up groups while himself performing at some of the leading venues. He is also the creator and producer of several movie sound tracks for major motion pictures such as “Lotus Born Master: Journey to the Other Side of the Black Hole” and Kung Fu documentary “Searching for Bodhidharma.”
Amitesh Kakade (Bodhidharma Yijingjing Master),
Amitesh Kakade is a devoted Hindu and Buddhist practitioner who teaches the traditional Bodhidharma Yi Jing Jing at the Shambhala Retreat Center and Ashram. He is also a media technology specialist, film editor, and special effects designer.
